There’s nothing particularly remarkable about May, and it doesn’t ask much of us — which is part of its appeal. A quiet month that slips by almost unnoticed, and isn’t offended if we let it. The days grow a little shorter, the air a little cooler, and life settles into a steady, uneventful rhythm. No long weekends to plan around, no major upheavals — just enough calm to get on with things, and maybe even enjoy the lack of excitement. Except, it’s now officially sweater weather.
