Coming back from Vietnam has been… a process. One minute I was eating bánh mì for breakfast, and the next I was back home trying to remember my login details. Re‑entry into normal life always feels a bit jarring, so here’s a couple of things I’ve been enjoying.

Sporteer Versaflex Running Belt
In my recent trip to Vietnam, I was trying to keep my baggage weight down. And maybe it’s just because I’m directly effected, but one of the features that frequently alludes women’s clothing is pockets. Our sweatshirts don’t often have secure pockets. I wouldn’t trust my pant pockets to keep my passport or phone safe. But I think I’ve found something that might solve this problem.
The Sporteer Versaflex Running Belt is your perfect travel companion. It is a pretty simple idea. It’s simply a band of Lycra with goes around your waist, sits under your clothing, and keeps your valuables safe and secure. I think this has been designed more for use when exercising, but get you a belt that does both. It’s got a really nice skin feel, it’s nice and it’s soft with no annoying labels to rub against your skin.
It has three pockets that go the whole way around, with a flap of fabric that sits over the top, so that your items don’t just fall out. In this one belt, I was able to fit my phone, my passport, my card holder, a lip balm and hand sanitiser.
I would recommend this for anyone wanting to travel, or run, and to keep your items safe and secure with you. You can get this from Amazon for $34.99.

grenade high protein bars
I’ve mentioned before that I am now a total protein person. Finding easy, delicious ways to sneak more protein into my day has basically become a hobby. I’m obsessed with hunting down supplements that actually taste amazing. And if you’ve tried enough protein bars, you’ll know how rare that is. So many of them have that strong, artificial aftertaste, especially the low‑sugar ones. But Grenade bars? They’ve answered my prayers.
These taste like an actual chocolate bar. They’ve become my go‑to on days when I know lunch is going to be tight — the perfect thing to throw in my bag and forget about until I need a little something to keep me going. They’re chewy, they’re gooey, surprisingly satisfying, and genuinely feel like a treat.
They come in a whole range of flavours, Oreo (white or milk chocolate), dark choc mint, peanut butter, but my personal favourite is Salted Caramel. It’s the one I keep coming back to.
Basically, it’s the kind of snack that makes you feel like you’ve got your life together, even if you absolutely do not.

the ordinary glycolic acid 7% exfoliating toner
Years and years ago, I heard an aesthetician say that toners were basically a waste of time and money — and I really took that to heart. I skipped them entirely for ages. But after using The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid, I have to officially retract that belief.
I’ve used glycolic acid in different forms throughout my adult life and generally always had great results. There was a glycolic mask I adored, but of course the brand discontinued it. So when I bought this toner a few months ago to help with the keratosis pilaris on my upper arms, I had high hopes… and then promptly forgot about it.
Fast‑forward to a few months ago when I noticed some unwanted texture on my face. I reached for the bottle on a whim, and I haven’t looked back since.
This toner has brought back that soft, glowy smoothness I’d been missing. I’ve been using it every second night and waking up with skin that looks and feels genuinely glorious. And the versatility is unmatched. You can use it as a facial toner, for keratosis pilaris on arms or legs, and even on the scalp for dandruff. It’s simple, effective, and incredibly easy to find.
Plus, the value is unbeatable. The 100ml bottle is under $15, so it’s not a huge investment to give it a try, and the results feel far more expensive than the price tag

UGREEN airplane bluetooth transmitter & receiver
If there’s one thing that can ruin a short or long‑haul flight, it’s a disruption to your entertainment. There is nothing worse than settling in for a movie only to be handed those glitchy, janky airline earphones that have been used by who knows how many people before you. Not exactly the comforting, cozy travel moment we all hope for.
Meet the UGREEN Bluetooth transmitter, a surprisingly life‑changing little gadget.
I originally bought it to test on a long‑haul flight, and honestly, I’m so pleased I did. It plugs straight into the in‑seat entertainment system and pairs instantly with my Bluetooth earphones. On a 15‑hour flight, I ended up swapping between different earphones a few times, and this tiny device adapted without a single hiccup. No lag, no weird audio drops, no fuss, generous battery life.
And the best part? Every time I’ve used it, my seatmates have asked about it. It’s one of those clever little travel upgrades that feels almost smugly efficient, like you’ve unlocked a secret level of flying comfort. Future me will never travel without it.
