Hi, I’m Claire, nice to meet you.

I’m a thirty-something woman living on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, spending my days cooking, styling, travelling, volunteering, dog-mumming, and paying attention to the little details that make every day feel full.

I grew up in Canberra, where I spent my first 23 years before packing up and heading west in 2011. After four years of adventure, long drives and learning a lot about myself, I made my way back to Australia’s east cost. Sydney has been my home ever since, and love it more than I ever thought I would.

I share my life with a loud, mischievous, short-haired dachshund named Harry. If you stand near me long enough, you’ll hear about him. He’s a constant source of joy, chaos and companionship, and a big part of my everyday rhythm.

I created this blog as a place to slow things down. A space to notice the changing seasons, to reflect, to write about what I’m cooking, wearing, watching and loving, to capture the moments that often pass by unnoticed. This isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about finding meaning in routine, joy in small rituals, and comfort in the ordinary.

Here you’ll find seasonal reflections, personal thoughts, weekend moods, simple recipes, style I actually wear, and stories from everyday life. Nothing overly polished or curated, just real moments, shared honestly.

You’ll probably feel at home here if you enjoy reflective writing, living in tune with the seasons, building routines that ground you, and finding beauty in the in-between. If you like blogs that feel more like a conversation than a performance, you’re in the right place.

Make yourself comfortable, have a browse, and stay for as long as you like.
