creamy pasta sauce
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I just crave a nice, big bowl of creamy pasta goodness. Something garlicky, cheesy, salty with the soft texture of a delicate, stringy pasta. This versatile sauce hits the spot every time, and it’s as easy as it is delicious. It’s by no means revolutionary, but you’ll never be disappointed.
I came up with this recipe one day when I had a few left over ingredients and no desire to go to the grocery store. I just threw some bacon, cream, garlic and cheese in a pan, warmed it up, threw in some pasta, and thus a favourite was discovered. Like I said before, it’s versatile enough to throw any other left overs in as well. In the picture above, I added some zucchini, kale and chicken to the sauce, but you can add any vegetables or lighter protein you like. It’s your meal, make it how you like it.
